Man City 1 – Chelsea 0
Gianluca Di Marzio has spoken!
In bad news for Chelsea, but excellent news for Man City, Di Marzio claims that Danilo has agreed to move from Real Madrid to the Etihad Stadium.
The Italian transfer guru couldn’t have been clearer in his update, claiming Danilo from Real Madrid to Man City is a “done deal” between the clubs.
Pep Guardiola is spending 30 million euros up front for the 26-year-old, while Real Madrid can trouser an extra 5 million euros in add-ons.
The deal is expected to be finalised either on Thursday, or Friday at the latest.

The only possible hiccup to the transfer completing would be if Danilo cannot agree personal terms with the Sky Blues, but that seems hugely unlikely.
Danilo leaving Real Madrid
Despite Zinedine Zidane’s desire for Danilo to stay, the former Porto right back is keen for regular first team football.
At Real Madrid, Danilo is behind Deni Carvajal in the pecking order.
Zidane would like a strong Real Madrid squad in all positions, but is aware that Danilo is eager to leave and will not block his way.
Danilo is also conscious of the fact that he needs to play this season to force himself into the Brazil World Cup squad.
Rotation with Walker
City, of course, recently signed Kyle Walker from Tottenham, making the England international the most expensive defender in world football.
So how will Pep Guardiola use Danilo in conjunction with Walker? The obvious answer is that Walker will rotate with Danilo throughout the season, much in the same way Kieran Tripper rotated with Walker at Spurs.
Man City will also be fighting on all fronts this season, so they are plenty of matches for each full-back to play in.
