One in, one out
Chelsea are lining up a top-class goalkeeper as a replacement for the potentially outbound Stamford Bridge shot-stopper Thibaut Courtois.
The Belgian is being consistently linked away from the club now and both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are said to be the two main clubs interested.
Atletico Madrid have already signed one big money player from Chelsea recently in the form of Diego Costa and could look to add Courtois to that list.
Even though the current goalkeeper at Atletico is Jan Oblak, Simeone’s side are still looking for a huge competition between them.
While that sounds a good idea, in theory, keeping two world-class goalkeepers happy is a very difficult task and that could lead to Chelsea chasing Oblak.
In many regards, it would be a like-for-like switch for the clubs with both goalkeepers extremely highly rated, though Courtois has the better standing.
Real Madrid are also a club looking to sign Courtois as they become frustrated in their pursuit of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
The player nearly moved to the Spanish giants a few years back but a delayed piece of paperwork seen the deal fall through.
Now, Jose Mourinho is simply not willing to let his star man leave the club which could see them turn to Courtois.
Safe to say, Chelsea are prepared for any outcome and a move for Jan Oblak seems to be what the doctor ordered.

Chelsea target shock transfer
While the Stamford Bridge side will keep an eye on the goalkeeping position, it is another shock position they are looking to strengthen.
Antonio Conte is targeting a forward and is looking at one he knows very well to provide competition.
