Chelsea vs Sheffield Wednesday
Chelsea host Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday in the 4th round of the FA Cup.
The Blues have already played once this week as they took on Tottenham in the second leg of the League Cup semi-final.
Chelsea won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard. They then won the proceeding penalty shootout and will face Man City in the League Cup final.
Maurizio Sarri’s side have not been in the greatest from heading into Sunday’s game.
They lost 2-0 vs Arsenal and were recently held to 0-0 draw with Southampton.
However, when they beat Tottenham last time out they looked a much better team.
Chelsea injury update
Heading into the FA Cup tie Chelsea have a few injury concerns.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been out of action since the 5th of January when he limped off vs Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.
It is not yet known if he is fit enough to feature vs Wednesday:
“A decision will be made tomorrow about whether he can feature on Sunday.”
Ruben Loftus-Cheek returned to training today following his recent back problem. “A decision will be made tomorrow about whether he can feature on Sunday.” No mention of Christensen (hamstring) who missed last nights game at Stamford Bridge. #CFC

Andreas Christensen is also a doubt for Sunday’s game after missing out on the matchday squad vs Spurs.
Christensen is said to be dealing with a minor hamstring problem and is therefore likely to miss the FA Cup tie.
Christensen is training with a coach away from the rest of the Chelsea squad. He’s running with a ball so his hamstring issue doesn’t look serious, but I suspect he’s doubtful for Sunday #cfc
