Chelsea fans hate one one player after terrible error vs West Ham

Mistake

Gary Cahill isn’t the most loved captain Chelsea have ever had – and replacing John Terry was always going to be a tall order, both in terms of the armband and also at the back – and he’s seen his place in the side come under threat on many occasions this season.

You can’t really blame Antonio Conte for dropping the player given his error prone ways, but after deciding Andreas Christensen needed both a rest and to be taken out of the limelight for his mistakes over the last month or so, he put Cahill back in the side.

Initially, Chelsea fans were mixed with their response, and some actually thought it was a good thing.

However, roll on the second half of the game against West Ham, and Cahill decided to do the unthinkable and hand Javier Hernandez a goal on a platter, and allowing the Hammers to get right back in the game.

Of course, the section of Chelsea fans who don’t like the 32-year-old were fuming, and noted that he should have been sold a long time ago – and even neutral fans were trolling Chelsea for having Cahill in their side – and it’s hard to blame them…
