Chelsea fans blame one man for their shocker against Man City

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has come in for a huge amount of stick this season, and after playing Eden Hazard as a false nine against Manchester City and seeing his side play poorly and go a goal down, the critics were out.

Gary Neville made his thoughts very clear, and Conte has not made himself the most popular man on the planet with the Chelsea board after moaning about how they failed to spend the money required to keep the Blues in the Premier League title chase – despite being one of the biggest spenders in world football since Roman Abramovich took over – and it seems that he thinks his side need to be far better and the squad far deeper.

Chelsea fans and many pundits didn’t agree, with the club getting panned and the manager someone who they all blamed – for the side being out of confidence and also their awful finishing this season, with their top scorer Eden Hazard having 11 Premier League goals – nowhere near enough to see them win the title or as it stands, even get into the race for a top four spot either – and Blues fans seem to think Conte needs to go – ASAP.
