Chelsea see off Palace
Chelsea played host to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Frank Lampard’s side headed into the tie in fine form, and on the back of an enthralling 4-4 comeback draw with Ajax in midweek.
Chelsea knew that they would, temporarily at least, move up to 2nd in the Premier League if they beat Palace.
And the Blues did exactly that. After struggling to break a compact Crystal Palace side down, Tammy Abraham eventually put Chelsea in front seven minutes after the interval.
Pulisic then put the result beyond doubt, making it 2-0 in the 79th minute.

Pulisic’s hip injury
Pulisic was once again in fine form for Chelsea vs Palace.
After a slow start to life in England, Pulisic’s confidence seems to grow with each display for the London outfit.

However, despite his positive outing vs the Eagles, Frank Lampard chose to withdraw the American shortly after his goal.
Lampard has since revealed in his post-match press conference that Pulisic picked up a slight hip injury during Saturday’s game:
Lampard praises @tammyabraham and @cpulisic_10 after their goals today. He says Pulisic was first class and was great to watch, with the only frustration a slight hip injury the American has picked up. #CHECRY
