Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been called out by the fans ahead of the Blues clash with Arsenal – for starting Bakayoko, who some Chelsea fans simply don’t like.
They felt that Danny Drinkwater deserved to keep his place in the side, and had some other comments about the starting line-up to boot.
The Blues got rid of Nemanja Matic in the summer, who for the majority of the season has been a key player for Manchester United and one of the bright lights even when they’ve struggled, and it seems that some Chelsea fans aren’t too convinced over his replacement.
Conte has spoken about a bigger squad time and time again, and while he’s been at the club, the Blues have struggled at times against Arsenal, losing the Charity Shield and also the FA Cup final, something that would have been unthinkable a few seasons ago – and given they play them three times in a matter of weeks, the Chelsea boss knows his side need the confidence this season to go into the Carabo Cup semi finals and make sure they get through to the final there.

Conte bottled the line up. He is scared of this Arsenal side, but with the defence Arsenal have out Conte should have started Willian/Pedro and went Cesc, Kante…but it could be enough already

If Wilshere somehow dominates Bakayoko today, might need a long Twitter break for me to recover. More reason to go to sleep

We really need to win this one. It’ll help our confidence so much. For once Bakayoko, show us why we spent £40m on you. #CFC

Don’t think it’s fair to drop Drinkwater for Bakayoko

What is it with Conte and Bakayoko? Are we here to defend against Arsenal? Even the defending, Bakayoko cannot do properly…

Conte is putting himself on the line for Baka. The guy should not just disappoint tonight else the blame is on Conte.
