According to a growing number of reports in Turkey this evening, Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun has agreed terms over a move to Premier League outfit Everton.
Tosun, a 26-year-old Turkish international, enjoyed a breakout campaign at the Vodafone Arena last season, racking up 27 goals in all competitions, including 20 goals and 5 assists in 29 league starts.
He has also started out the current season in impressive fashion, having netted 13 times across all competitions.
The versatile Eintracht Frankfurt youth product can play either as the focal point of his side’s attack, or on either wing, and has also notched 8 goals in 24 appearances for Turkey.
Tosun has been linked with moves to a number of Premier League sides over recent months, with all of Newcastle United, Everton, Tottenham and Crystal Palace having reportedly informed Besiktas of their interest.
Reports earlier this week claimed that Crystal Palace had lodged an offer of £14 million for the Turk, though such claims were thrown into doubt following comments from Eagles boss Roy Hodgson.
Goodison Park bound?
However, as per intensifying reports in Tosun’s home country this evening, it is in fact Everton who have agreed personal terms with the striker regarding a January transfer:
Everton, Cenk Tosun’la anlaşmaya vardı..
Kulübe gelen teklif ise 14 milyon pound..
”Tamam” denirse , Cenk Tosun, Ocak’tan itibaren Premier Lig’de.

The above report, via journalist Firat Gunayer, claims that Tosun will become an Everton player next month, if Besiktas accept an offer of £14 million (around 16 million Euro).
NTVSpor, meanwhile, report that the Toffees’ offer is in fact worth 20 million Euro.
It remains to be seen how Besiktas will respond to such offers, however, with rumours having spread earlier this month that the Super Lig champions are in fact looking for a far more substantial fee than 20 million Euro to part with their crown jewel.
