New Manchester United signing Casemiro has, on Friday, gone viral across social media owing to a humourous response during a recent interview.
Brazilian international Casemiro, of course, surprised the masses in opting to take his talents to Old Trafford last week.
After being identified by Erik ten Hag as the solution to United’s long-standing problems at the base of the club’s midfield, the 30-year-old showcased little hesitation in closing the legendary Real Madrid chapter of his career.
Casemiro, in turn, is expected to take to the pitch for his debut in Red Devils colours this weekend.

Ahead of the Manchester giants’ Premier League showdown with Southampton, the South American, as a result, this week took part in a number of interviews, drawn on the thought process behind his decision to swap Spain for England.
And now, as alluded to above, a specific exchange from one such interview has piqued widespread attentions online.
This came as Casemiro made reference to his remarkable success on European football’s grandest stage.
Speaking to ESPN in his home country of Brazil, the all-action midfielder was asked whether the lack of Champions League football on offer at Old Trafford forced him to think twice about a potential United switch.
As a large grin spread across his face, though, Casemiro simply responded with:
“Well, I have five [Champions Leagues], right?”
He continued:
“But, it’s not because I have five that I don’t want to win with Manchester. The Champions League is the most important championship and everyone wants to win it.
