What a way to bow out!

Carlos Ruiz played his final game for Guatemala on Tuesday evening in an epic match for the former LA Galaxy striker.

Ruiz, now 36, scored five (5!) goals for Guatemela as they beat St Vincent Grenadines 9-3.

The former Dallas hitman scored three in the first half and two in the second half as his international career came to a close with an amazing display.

Ruiz is now all-time top goal scorer in World Cup qualifiers

As a result of his five goals for Guatemala in his final game, Ruiz has now scored 68 goals in 133 games for his country.

It also means Ruiz is now the all-time top goal scorer in World Cup qualifiers, with 38.

Ruiz has now beaten the record set by Iranian Ali Daei of 35.
