Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has, on Saturday, spoken out over the futures of a pair of the club's stars.
First up comes the latest on Vinicius Tobias.
For those not aware, 18-year-old Vinicius opted to swap Ukrainian heavyweights Shakhtar Donetsk for the Bernabeu earlier this month, on loan through the summer of 2023.
And, if the latest comments on the part of the aforementioned Ancelotti are anything to go by, then this is an option which those in a position of power in the Spanish capital fully intend to take advantage of.
'It will happen'
Ancelotti, from here, was then drawn on the future of one of those at the other end of the age scale at the Bernabeu, in the form of Luka Modric.
Croatian maestro Modric of course saw his name take centre stage in the headlines during the week, after coming up with the most sumptuous of assists to set Real Madrid's comeback downing of Chelsea in the Champions League's quarter-finals in motion.
In turn, it didn't come as all that much of a surprise when the club's boss was asked for the latest on the ongoing contract negotiations between club and player.
This comes ahead of the expiration of Modric's current terms in the summer.
Ancelotti, though, was quick to ease any concerns on the part of the Blancos faithful that their veteran midfield star could soon be on the move, assuring that Modric will go on to see out his playing days in Spain's capital:
