Carlo Ancelotti expresses desire to see out Everton contract

Ancelotti’s Everton stint
We are now just a few days away from Carlo Ancelotti’s one-year anniversary as manager of Everton.
The Italian was appointed on December 21st of 2019, and has since made some decent progress with the Merseysiders.
Everton enjoyed a superb start to the season, which actually saw them spend a few weeks atop the Premier League table.
Their form subsequently dipped off concerningly, though the Toffees have since managed to get things back on track once again.
Everton entered the latest round of fixtures sitting 5th in the English top-flight, following impressive wins over both Chelsea and Leicester City.

Ancelotti eyeing long stay
At this very minute, meanwhile, the Merseysiders are locked in action with Arsenal.
Ahead of his side’s meeting with the Gunners, Ancelotti opened up on his plans for the future.
The Italian’s current contract is due to keep him at Goodison Park until 2024.
Such lengthy stints are not usually associated with the decorated tactician, who has historically spent two years at most with any one club.
Ancelotti, though, this weekend moved to make clear his desire to see out his current terms on Merseyside:
I would like to finish the contract [at Everton] because it will be the first time – apart from Milan where I spent eight years – that I have stayed more than two years [at a club].
I would like to finish my contract here and with trophies and with something special. At the moment, I feel good. I think the club feel good with me and when the relationship is good, you can continue without problem.
The project this club has, excites me. To bring Everton back to the top is a big, big motivation for me.
