It was another less than satisfactory weekend for Liverpool.
Despite playing at home, Jurgen Klopp’s side were unable to score against West Ham on Saturday in a 0-0 draw in the FA Cup 4th round.
The Reds’ schedule is starting to get ridiculous. They could end up playing 25 matches in 85 days between Boxing Day & March 19.
Managing the squad will be key for Klopp this year, and on Saturday Cameron Brannagan gave an excellent account of himself to suggest he could be used more.
The 19-year-old played well in midfield, and was argubly Liverpool’s man of the match.
He registered a 92% pass accuracy. He also threatened the Hammers goal in the first half, while Christian Benteke should have scored from his through ball after the break.
