Bad for Burnley: Terrible Ben Mee update before Leicester

Ben Mee’s Burnley season maybe over

Burnley fans have received bad news on Thursday.

Centre-half Ben Mee has been one of the standout players for Seans Dyche this season.

But Mee may not be seen again until the 2018-19 campaign, following an injury picked up before last weekend’s win at Watford.

The Burnley Express have published fresh quotes from Dche, who has confirmed that Ben Mee’s season maybe over:

It could possibly be a number of weeks to let it settle down, which is a shame as he’s had such a good season.

It’s basically a deep bone bruise, which he has had before on the other shin, that cost him the last few games last season.

He’s been on the grass since Monday, which is a good sign, so we’ll see how he goes.
