Premier League preview: Brighton vs Burnley

Graham Potter has made a good start to life at the Amex Stadium, despite his side suffering defeat in their last two games.

An opening day 3-0 win over Watford was followed by a decent point away to West Ham United.

But having lost to Southampton and Manchester City in their last two outings, Potter will be hoping to return to winning ways on Saturday.

New signing Neal Maupay has also made a quick impression on the south coast earning starts in the Seagulls’ last two games.

The 22-year-old netted off the bench on the opening day and will be keen to add to his tally on the weekend.

Ashley Barnes’ impressive start to the season

Ashley Barnes is once again proving to be Burnley’s talisman with his impressive start to the season.

The striker has netted four goals in four, earning him a nomination for the league’s player of the month award.

Burnley, along with Brighton, are also on four points for the season.

The Clarets came within inches of winning away at Wolverhampton Wanderers with a 97th-minute penalty costing them two points.

Along with a strong showing at the Emirates, Burnley have performed well away from home so far this season.
