Spanish outlet Sport is reporting that former Brazil forward and footballing legend Ronaldo is currently in hospital after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
Ronaldo was admitted into hospital last Friday and is still under close supervision.
Diario de Ibiza are also reporting that the Brazilian is currently in the intensive care unit of the hospital.
Ronaldo was on holiday in Ibiza but after suffering with chest pains he decided to go into the hospital to get them checked out, at which point he was diagnosed with pneumonia.
The Brazilian then decided to move himself from the public hospital he took himself to and was admitted to a private clinic where he currently remains and is said to be responding well to treatment.
Ronaldo enjoyed an illustrious career around Europe were he made a name for himself as one of the best ever.
He began his career in Brazil but would quickly move to PSV were he would play 54 games and scored 51.
Ronaldo would then sign for Barcelona and go on to play 49 games, scoring 47 in that time.
The forward then joined Inter Milan were he racked up 98 appearances, scoring 59 and assisting three in those games.
Ronaldo then signed for Real Madrid were he became a club legend. He played 177 games for them, in which he scored 104 and assisted 22, a superb record.
Ronaldo also enjoyed an excellent national team career playing 98 and scoring 62 for Brazil.
