Brand new leaked images of Leeds 2021-22 3rd kit
Leeds go purple
Images of Leeds’ 2021/22 third kit have been leaked online and for the first time in their history it appears that the kits will feature a purple colouration sure to turn a few heads.

So far just the colours of the shirt have been revealed to the public, with the overall design yet to be uncovered, but with a third shirt strip so close to the white of the home shirt it is going to be interesting to see where and when this kit may see service.
The third shirt from this season was a much bolder maroon shade and now it seems the aesthetic is being abandoned for something less loud.

Phillips over Rice, Henderson?
Sky Sports pundit and former Valencia coach Gary Neville has been surprising a number of people with some of his takes on the program and his opinion of Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United is sure to raise a few eyebrows as well.
The Leeds midfielder was called up to the most recent England scored and featured throughout their games in the World Cup qualifiers.
Neville has suggested that Phillips should be picked over the likes of Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson because of his passing abilities.
“Kalvin Phillips is better at passing the ball through the lines at Leeds,” Neville said.
“Henderson and Rice are good on the ball, but I think Phillips is the best out of the three on the ball in terms of accepting the ball and getting it off the back four.
“It has become a really important area for England to connect the back to the front. They’ve struggled over many, many years to be able to do that and get the ball through the midfield. Kalvin Phillips, under Bielsa, is used to getting on the ball all the time.”
With how good Rice has been this season and Henderson being so key to Liverpool’s title win last campaign, the suggestion may leave many scratching their heads if this is the right way to go.
