Bournemouth vs Tottenham betting tips: Premier League match preview & predictions

Bournemouth vs Tottenham 101 Great Goals prediction: Bournemouth 0-2 Tottenham

Following four defeats in their last five games in all competitions, Tottenham are in need of a major lift.

Fortunately for Spurs, whilst their league form has dipped so has their rivals’, but three points on Saturday remains a must.

A win on Saturday guarantees top four for Tottenham this season. It would not be an insignificant achievement considering the lack of transfers, stadium move and injury problems.

Spurs will also want to finish the job before the second leg against Ajax.

AFC Bournemouth will be hoping to finish the season with a bang but with nothing to play for, Spurs are expected to take the spoils.

The Cherries play out their last home game after a season in which they have delighted going forward.

Premier League preview: Bournemouth vs Tottenham

The next five days for Spurs could be the most defining period in the club’s history.

Tottenham have the chance to secure Champions League football for next season and a chance to reach the final of the competition for the very first time.

However, Mauricio Pochettino will be attempting to do so with a squad decimated by injury.

The north London club are now severely feeling the effects of no summer signings, late World Cup returnees, multiple injuries and fatiguing players.

Whilst key players are sat on the sidelines, others like Christian Eriksen are showing the effects of being so heavily relied upon.

Pochettino is sure to have one eye on Wednesday’s European semi-final but a win at Bournemouth is crucial in the race for the top four and to give the team a much-needed boost.

Bournemouth’s bad form before Tottenham

Eddie Howe’s side’s poor run of form has seen the Cherries drop into 14th and nothing to play for with two games remaining.

Whilst their Premier League status for another season is secure, they will not have enjoyed their recent run of form.

They have lost three of their last four games and are without a win in five games at the Vitality Stadium.

Howe will be needing to pick his players up following this disappointing period and motivate them for a game with nothing riding on it.

Champions League review: Tottenham 0-1 Ajax

It’s advantage AFC Ajax following their 1-0 triumph at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Donny van de Beek netted the only goal of the game with the two sides heading to Amsterdam next week.

It proved a step too far for Mauricio Pochettino’s injury-plagued squad as they struggled to match the Dutch side.

Tottenham will be hoping the return of Heung-min Son and others will be key at the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

Bournemouth team news vs Tottenham
