Spain’s game against Bosnia today may have been nominally a friendly, but no one told that to Emir Spahic.
The ex-Sevilla man seemed to have some beef with a few of the Spanish players, and took to the game with an abnormal level of aggression, given that it was a friendly after all.
With Spain leading 2-1 late in the 1st half, Spahic completely lost the plot, and slapped Chelsea’s Azpilicueta, and then did the same to Cesc Fabregas when the Spain captain came over to try and defuse the situation.
Unsurprisingly, Spahic was given his marching orders.
