“He can not do what he wants”
Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos has criticised Ousmane Dembele over the way he has treated the club during Barcelona saga.
Dembele went on strike at the club last week and has supposedly flown to Barcelona in anticipation of a deal being completed.
The player is attempting to force through a move and the Catalan giants are looking to complete a mega-money deal to bring him in as Neymar’s replacement.
The Frenchman has become one of the most exciting youngsters in world football, if not the most exciting and Barcelona are well on his trail.
Though, a deal may take longer than a few weeks and Dembele has now put himself in a situation in which he can not go back.
Having been suspended and fined by Borussia Dortmund, if a deal was to fall through then his Dortmund future would be practically over.
Now, defender Sokratis has now criticised the player for his stance and on how he is attempting to force through a move.
“He must understand that no player is bigger than the team,” he explained.
“He can not do what he wants, and he should use Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as an example.”
“He is very professional in every game and every training and has scored three goals in the first cup round.”
“Ousmane was not there, Ousmane did not take a strike.”
In contrary to reports of MD, Dortmund has agreed to sell Ousmane Dembélé to Barça. Still minor things to work on. [express] pic.twitter.com/TyM676OqzU

Coutinho deal a ‘matter of hours’ away
Philippe Coutinho could now also be set for a move to Barcelona with his move edging closer.
The latest reports claim that it could well now be a matter of hours before the move is completed.
Coutinho has already submitted a transfer request this summer in an attempt to force through a move.
