Double for Cristhian Stuani

Middlesborough were absolutely fantastic against Sunderland in the first half of their Premier League match on Sunday.

While the Black Cats had more of the possession at the Stadium of Light, when it came to cut and thrust, Boro had the significant upper hand.

The hero for Boro was Cristhian Stuani.

Making his EPL debut, Stuani bagged a brilliant brace to give the visitors a healthy lead at the break.

His opener was sublime: a rocket into the top corner in the 13th minute.

Sunderland were then torn apart just before the break as Stuani grabbed his second of the game.

Stuani & Man United’s Marcus Rashford

The new EPL arrival and Man United’s Marcus Rashford now have something in common.

Stuani is the 26th different player to score twice on their Premier League debut, while he’s the first player to do so since Rashford in February 2016.

Rashford, of course, scored a brace in Man United’s 3-2 win over Arsenal last season.
