Everton have struggled this season and found themselves embroiled in a relegation battle but they have received some good news today.
While they haven’t been hit as bad as sides like West Ham this season on the injury front, it hasn’t been perfect.
Seamus Coleman has only just recovered from a long-term injury, with Yannick Bolaise also missed out on a half a season through injury.
Michael Keane and Phil Jagielka have also had their own injury problems this season which has left them short at times.
Now, it was confirmed by Ramiro Funes Mori on his social media pages that he has returned to first team training.
The Argentine has been out with a long-term injury and would have been Everton’s only naturally left-footed player.
Though, Sam Allardyce made the decision to bring in Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The Frenchman comes in on loan to give the Toffees some much-needed quality at the back.
They also failed with a deadline day move for Lille star Adama Soumaoro which shows how desperate they were in that department.
Now they will be hoping that with Mori back and Mangala coming into the club, they can start pushing away from bottom half of the table.
Their win against Leicester certainly went some way to doing that but they face a huge test in Arsenal this weekend.

Everton star leaves on loan – two days after Big Sam claims he won’t
One player that Everton would have liked to have kept at the club defied the clubs wishes on deadline day.
The player was set to stay at the club and not leave on loan, with Sam Allardyce suggesting he would not be leaving.
Though, Everton fans were shocked to see the club announced his departure.
