Bernardo Silva issues Man City rallying cry ahead of Liverpool clash

Manchester City winger Bernardo Silva has this evening taken to social media to issue a rallying cry to the club’s fans, in anticipation of the Citizens’ crunch Champions League quarter-final second-leg clash with Liverpool.

The two clubs are set to go head to head at the Etihad tomorrow evening, after a blistering opening half-hour from Liverpool at Anfield last week saw Jurgen Klopp’s men emerge with a 3-0 victory.

City have since fallen to a second defeat in the space of 4 days, after throwing away a 2-goal lead to succumb to a shock 3-2 loss at home to Manchester United on Saturday evening, in the process missing out on the opportunity to clinch the Premier League title versus their fierce inner-city rivals.

‘Can do it’

With the last week having been a particularly difficult one for fans of the Citizens, winger Bernardo Silva has this evening taken to Twitter to plead with the club’s supporters to rally behind Pep Guardiola’s men at the Etihad tomorrow night, as they attempt to overturn their 3-goal deficit and keep the club’s hopes of a first ever Champions League title alive:
