Brazilian winger Bernard ‘to choose between Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton’

Premier Sport reporter Andersinho Marques has this evening provided an update on the future of free-agent Brazilian star Bernard.

Highly-regarded

Bernard, a gifted 25-year-old winger, had been on the books of Shakhtar Donetsk since 2013, when he made the move to Europe from Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro as a highly sought-after youngster.

He since went on to establish himself a key contributor for the Ukrainian champions, racking up 14 goals and 24 assists in just under 100 league outings for Shakhtar.

In addition, Bernard has managed up appearances for Brazil over the course of his career to date, with his showings for the Selecao and Shakhtar having led to a number of top European clubs expressing an interest in his services.

Past interest

In the past, all of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and more have been linked with moves for Bernard, though interest in his signature has gone somewhat quiet this summer, despite the fact that the South American is now a free agent following the expiration of his Skahktar Donetsk contract.

PL bound

But, as per the aforementioned report from Andersinho Marques this evening, Bernard in fact looks all set for a move to the Premier League this summer.

Italian reporter Marques has revealed that the pacy wide-man ‘will play in England’ next season, with Bernard having only to choose between a trio of suitors, in the form of Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal:
