Bayern Munich & Man City’s Leroy Sane
One transfer rumour which has done the rounds this summer is the claim that Bayern Munich are keen on signing Man City’s Leroy Sane.
Bayern are now in a moment of transition when it comes to their wingers.
Both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben have left Bayern after extended careers at the Allianz Arena.
Within that context, Bayern have been linked with Leroy Sane.
Sane was last in the Bundesliga three seasons ago, before he left Schalke to join the Sky Blues.
For the record, the 23-year-old is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2021.
Leroy Sane on his Man City future
Sane was in action for Germany on Tuesday night.
Germany thrashed Estonia 8-0 in a Euro 2020 qualifier.
The Man City star not only completed the match, but also scored the final German goal.
After the match, Sane opened up about his Man City future.

Bayern’s plan B includes Arsenal target Yannick Carrasco
On Wednesday, Sport Bild have considered how Bayern will react if they fail to sign City’s Sane.
In a concern for Arsenal supporters, Bayern are linked with Belgian international Yannick Carrasco.
According to the update, 25-year-old Carrasco is on Bayern’s list of Sane alternatives.
The Belgian, who is currently on the books of Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang, would cost €30 million.
However, Sport Bild note that Arsenal are leading the race for Carrasco’s signing.

Who else could Bayern sign?
In addition to the Bayern-Carrasco link, Sport Bild also name-drop some other possible transfer targets.
They include PSG’s Julian Draxler and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Sport Bild also suggest that Bayern could sign RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner this summer.
