Bayern Munich delay photo shoot because of Man City’s Leroy Sane – Bild

Bayern Munich & Man City’s Leroy Sane

Bild have published an eye-catching report this week, connecting Man City’s Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich.

The press have been linking the Bundesliga champs with Sane throughout the summer.

It’s all change at the Allianz Arena following the departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.

Sane is reportedly a target for Bayern, but the Germans have so far been unsuccessful in finding a deal.

Bayern Munich delay photo shoot

According to Bild, Bayern Munich have decided to push back their annual club photo shoot.

While the shoot usually takes place during pre-season, it will now take place in September.

Why? Bild speculate that it’s because Bayern want to have Leroy Sane in the picture.

Leroy Sane & Man City

Sane, 23, is under contract at Man City until 2023.

Last season, Sane started 21 Premier League games, which was down from 27 starts in 2017-18.

Pep Guardiola has previously confirmed that, while Sane can improve, Man City want him to stay for longer:

He is a guy we appreciate, I like him a lot. I think he can be better.

Two times, three times I have said that we want him to stay. That’s why he has an offer to extend his contract.

It’s not in our hands. The agreement is good and if he wants to leave, I’ll be sad. Hopefully, he stays.
