Liverpool vs Bayern Munich
Bayern are set to travel to Liverpool this coming Tuesday for the first leg of their Champions League tie.
Munich will then host Liverpool in the return leg on March 13th.
Heading into the game, Liverpool are joint top of the Premier League having lost just once in 26 games.
They have, however, been on a slightly poor run of in recent weeks, drawing 1-1 twice with West Ham and Leicester City.
Niko Kovac worries ahead of Liverpool
As for Bayern Munich, they are second in the Bundesliga, two points behind 1st place Dortmund who have a game in hand.
Munich’s latest game saw them face Augsburg on Friday evening.
Bayern came away with a 3-2 win thanks to a brace from Kingsley Coman and a 53rd minute David Alaba strike.

Despite picking up a win on Friday, Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac feels his side were not good enough defensively and if they play like that against Liverpool they will be punished:
“We struggled to get into the game.
“I can’t remember conceding a goal so early, that was very annoying.
“Every shot is a goal at the moment. When we have the ball, we don’t play like I expect the team to play.
“Their second goal is a good example. The second ball with all that room in the back is something that can’t happen, Liverpool would punish us for that sort of mistake.
“Defensively, we need to be better working backwards, and that is something that will be going into my analysis.”As quoted by the Metro.
