Barcelona’s Tottenham match confirmed

‘Confirmed’

Barcelona are set to go head to head with Mauricio Pochettino’s side Tottenham Hotspur if reports in Spain are to be believed.

The Calatan giants look set to win La Liga this season and also have a pretty good chance of winning the Champions League.

They face off against Italian giants Roma in their Quarter-final second leg but already have a 4-1 aggregate lead.

That should send them through to the semi-finals with a good chance of reaching the final and possibly going all the way.

That would end a very good season but the same can’t exactly be said for Tottenham just yet.

The side look likely to claim a top-four spot this season with Chelsea and Arsenal dropping to fifth and sixth.

Though, they will also have the chance to win some silverware in the form of the FA Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will face Manchester United in the semi-final before facing off against one of Chelsea or Southampton in the final.

Pre-season plans.

Though, it seems as though both sides are planning for the summer already.

Mundo Deportivo, cited by Sport Witness, claim to know of Barcelona’s pre-season plans already and one game will be against Spurs.

The sides will face off in what looks to be a tour on the West Coast of the US.

Barcelona will face Tottenham in Los Angeles on the 28th July, before facing AC Milan in Dallas on the 31st and AS Roma in San Franciso on 4th August.

With Mundo Deportivo naming all of the details for each game, it looks likely that all of these have been confirmed for the summer.

Both sides will now just be looking to go into that game with some silverware under their belts.
