Juventus v Barcelona
Juventus hosted Barcelona at the Juventus Stadium looking for revenge and a place in the knockout rounds on Wednesday night.
Barcelona produced one of their best performances of the season when they beat Juventus 3-0 at the Camp Nou in September.
Juventus started the game knowing a win would guarantee qualification through the last 16 of the Champions League.
Barcelona only needed one point to book their spot in the next round.
No Leo Messi
There was a major shock when Barcelona’s team sheet was released for Wednesday night’s Champions League match at Juventus.
Leo Messi wasn’t in the starting eleven. Instead the Argentine was left on the bench.
That Messi decision seemed to be made with the Valencia match in La Liga this weekend in mind.

Paulinho was dirty cheat
During the first half in Turin, Barcelona midfielder Paulinho attracted plenty of criticism.
That’s after Paulinho tried to con the referee into giving Barcelona a penalty.
In a shameful act, Paulinho threw himself to the floor in the Juve box when he received absolutely no contact.
The Brazilian earned himself a yellow card for his appalling act of simulation.
