Dembele to miss Real Madrid clash
While Ousmane Dembele would bag Barca’s third goal vs Sevilla, the Frenchman would cap his evening off by being sent off.
The reason for Dembele’s dismissal was reportedly because he told the referee that he is ‘very bad’.
Now, on Wednesday the 9th of October, Spanish outlet Marca have reported that the Frenchman will serve a two-game ban for his dismissal on Sunday:
The competition committee have confirmed this Wednesday morning that the Frenchman’s suspension will be for two games.
With his suspension set to be carried out for two games, Dembele will now be unavailable for Barcelona’s upcoming clash with Real Madrid.
The La Liga champions’ first game back after the international break sees them travel to Eibar on October 19th, which Dembele will miss.
But Barca must then play host to Real on October 26th, the second tie of Dembele’s two-game ban.
