Earlier than expected
Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele has revealed on his Instagram page that he will return from his injury within the next two months.
The Frenchman signed for the Catalan giants following Neymar Jr’s move to Paris Saint Germain but his start to life at the Camp Nou has not started well.
Dembele was known in the summer for going on strike at former club Borussia Dortmund in an attempt to engineer a move to Barcelona.
That meant that he would not have trained or played during the last month of pre-season with the German giants which has had its effect on the player.
Even after reports that the player was struggling for fitness, the player was thrown in at the deep end in a game against Getafe in which he found himself injured.
Initial reports claimed that the player would be out for at least three months, maybe reaching up to four months which would have been a huge blow.
Though, an Instagram post from the player himself hosted an interesting hashtag that translated to ‘I return in 2 months’.
It is obviously not confirmed that his return will be within two months as there could well be setbacks but Dembele seems confident in his post.
Barcelona fans will certainly be hoping that he returns after two months with that much better than the four months first reported.
Barcelona boss could anger Leo Messi
While it seems to be going OK for Barcelona at this moment in time, there could well be some trouble in paradise.
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde could well be set to anger star forward Lionel Messi after his latest comments.
