Barcelona tipped to revive Willian interest & Kurt Zouma reveals Man City prediction

Barcelona revive Willian interest

The front page of Mundo Deportivo on Wednesday revives Barcelona’s interest in Chelsea’s Willian.

Willian has been linked with a move to Barcelona in the past, however the Brazilian has remained at Chelsea.

But Willian’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the end of the season.

Indeed, Willian can start talking to foreign clubs from January.

However, it’s worth pointing out that Mundo Deportivo fail to report anything substantial to convince readers that Willian will move to Barcelona.

Put another way, MD’s report lacks any supporting evidence to back up Barcelona’s supposed interest.

Willian has three goals and three assists for Chelsea this season.

Will Chelsea agree a new deal with Willian?

Frank Lampard has recently addressed the issue of contract talks with Willian, saying:

The word isn’t ‘no-brainer’ because I can’t get involved in the money. That’s up to the club to do.

But everyone sees how much I’m relying on him, and picking him and in what he is producing.

I love him at this football club. So there’s my answer.

Kurt Zouma reveals Man City prediction

When the Premier League restarts after the international break, Chelsea take on Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

Kurt Zouma has spoken to Chelsea’s website, and the French defender has offered his prediction for the City game:

It’s going to be a big game, we’re playing well and it won’t be easy against one of the best teams in the league.

We also have the quality to go there and do something, we believe in our quality.
