Neymar to leave PSG?
Neymar left Barcelona in August of 2017 for Ligue 1 giants, PSG.
The Brazilian has played 58 games for the French club, in which he has scored 51 and assisted 29.
However, Neymar has been stricken with injuries since moving to Paris, allowing him to feature just 17 times in Ligue 1 this past season.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi also cast some doubt over Neymar’s future in a recent interview, which saw him speak about wanting players committed to the shirt:
“I want players willing to give everything to defend the honor of the jersey and to join the club project.
“Those who do not want, or do not understand, we see each other and we talk to each other. There are of course contracts to be respected (Neymar is under contract with the PSG until 2022), but the priority now is total membership of our project.
“Nobody forced him to sign here. Nobody pushed him. He came knowingly to join a project.” As quoted by france football.
Coutinho a part of Barca’s offer
The 27-year-old has been linked with a Barcelona return in the past week or so.
And, on Friday the 21st of June, Spanish outlet SPORT have claimed that Barcelona have already opened negotiations for Neymar.
The Catalan side are even said to have submitted an offer for Neymar, which SPORT allege to be €100 million, plus Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho has spent around 18 months in Spain but has struggled for any sort of form.
The ex-Liverpool man scored just five and assisted two in 34 La Liga games this past season.
As per the report from SPORT, PSG initially put a €300 million price tag on Neymar’s head.
