Barcelona legend Ronaldinho sends message to Xavi

Ronaldinho has sent a message to his former teammate at FC Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez.

Xavi is of course now in charge of Barcelona and, despite taking over when La Blaugrana were at arguably their lowest point for the past 15 years, the former midfielder has already reinvigorated the side.

Xavi has won 15, drawn eight and lost four games as Barca boss to date, dragging them from around 6th in the table all the way up to 2nd in La Liga.

Now, after Xavi’s superb start to life back in Catalunya, Ronaldinho has stated that he is very happy for his former teammate: "Xavi? It's going well, everything he's doing. I'm very happy for him and I hope it can keep going like this. It's beautiful that he returned to Barça."

The Brazilian then wished Xavi luck and hopes his stint as a coach will be something great: "I always thought Xavi would be a coach, even when we were playing. It's not a surprise for me. I wish him lots of luck and I hope it'll be something great."

Levante vs Barcelona

Barcelona must now turn their attentions towards La Liga, where they will face Levante on Sunday evening.

The Catalan powerhouse head into the game sitting 2nd in the Spanish top-flight, 12 points behind Real Madrid with a game in hand.

And though the chances of Barca catching Real now look slim to none, they will nevertheless still be hopeful of a strong finish to the 2021/22 campaign.
