FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho has been discussing one of the club’s latest rising stars, Pedri, in a recent interview.
Pedri joined Barcelona in 2019 and, after spending a season back on loan with Las Palmas, has taken the Camp Nou by storm.
The 19-year-old had a superb 2020/21 that ended with him being named as Euro 2020’s Young Player of the Tournament.
The teenager’s 2021/22 was then derailed by injury, but he has returned to action and is once again shining with Barca.
And despite being a central midfielder, Pedri has scored some crucial goals of late, including the winner vs Sevilla this past weekend.
Now, as his stock continues to rise, Pedri had been praised by Barcelona legend Ronaldinho:
"Pedri has so much quality,” the Brazilian stated. “I hope he stays at Barcelona for many years."

Elsewhere, Ronaldinho has given Barca the go-ahead to pick up his fellow countryman, Raphinha.
The Leeds United star has been linked with La Blaugrana a fair bit of late and Ronaldinho is seemingly eager to see that deal get over the line:
"I would like Raphinha to sign for Barça, I think he would fit in. I know him a lot and he has a lot of quality,” he said.
