Barcelona defender Samuel Umitit has been heavily linked with Manchester United this season after reports claiming he was unhappy with his current deal at Barcelona emerged.
However, after scoring for the side against Roma in their Champions League quarter-final tie, he made it very clear just where his loyalties lie.
Samuel Umtiti just scored for Barcelona and made a point of pointing to the crest. Just saying.

There had of course been a huge amount of speculation over his future, with people claiming he could well be off this summer after feeling the release clause in his contract was sub-par, and even Gerard Pique has come out and noted it should be improved – but now it seems that the player himself has shown his love for the club.
United may miss out on Umtiti, but they’re on the hunt for multiple players this summer, and it seems that they are looking for reinforcements all over the field, with defenders and midfielders at the top of Jose Mourinho’s list.
Reports are also emerging that Mourinho has put his faith in Alexis Sanchez for the upcoming season, and thinks the former Arsenal player will be far better in his second season at the club – and can even be the talisman that wins the title for United, who will have to be far better than they have been this season if they want to come even close to Manchester City, let alone keep up with other sides who will also be trying to build and improve.
