Bamford admits to captaining himself in FPL but admitted to not owning Raphinha
Bielsa happy with clean sheet
Marcelo Bielsa has been praised this season for his side’s fluidity and attacking verve which has made them one of the most attractive teams to watch in the Premier League this campaign.
However, the clean sheet which his side managed to keep against Crystal Palace in the 2-0 victory pleased the Brazilian coach hugely.
Bielsa said. “We didn’t suffer any chances in the first half and very few in the second. The team didn’t lose vitality in the last 15 minutes. We managed the ball, but we didn’t stop creating danger.”

“It was very important for us to keep the ball and when we lost it, it was important for them not to create danger and we managed to do this. Although in the end we didn’t attack as much throughout the game we generally caused them danger.”
The win importantly moved Leeds United above Arsenal who they play at the weekend and still have a single game in hand over their North London opponents.
Bamford captained himself
Patrick Bamford is enjoying a stellar season back in the Premier League with Leeds scoring 12 goals and assisting a further 6. He scored once again in Leeds’ win over Crystal Palace yesterday evening and was extra pleased due to the fact that he had captained himself in his own Fantasy Football team.
“I don’t – but I captained myself! After I missed that one in the first half, I was kicking myself, so I’m glad I scored,” he said.

He amusingly admitted that he missed out on additional points by not owning his Brazilian colleague Raphinha. The wide man who joined the club from Rennes in the summer has been impressive and has helped Bamford on a number of occasions to score and take home all 3 points.
