Bale, Fernandes & Dybala on Mourinho’s Tottenham wish-list – Wales Online

Could Bale return to Spurs?

New Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho will reportedly target Gareth Bale as his first major signing, with Paulo Dybala and Bruno Fernandes also targets.

Bale’s time in Madrid hasn’t exactly been ideal.

While he was once a very important player at the Bernabeu, Bale has become somewhat of a scapegoat at Real Madrid.

The fans have jeered him on a number occasions, and Bale’s reported fall-out with Zinedine Zidane hasn’t helped.

Bale has been reintegrated back into the team of late, but the Spanish press reacted badly after the player posed with a banner aimed at Real Madrid on Tuesday.

And new Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is now looking to exploit that, according to reports.

Jose aiming big on Premier League return

According to Wales Online, Jose Mourinho is targeting a January move for Gareth Bale.

The Welshman left Spurs in 2013 for what was then a world-record fee.

Now, just over six years on, Mourinho wants to bring Bale back to the Premier League.

Their report claims: ‘Mourinho, unveiled as new Spurs boss this morning, is ready to capitalise on the situation by moving in for Bale in the January transfer window’.

However, Spurs would face some competition for Bale’s signature.

Again, according to Wales Online, Manchester United remain interested in the Welshman.

‘Manchester United also remain keen on Bale, while a mooted move to China could also be back on the cards,’ they claim.

Bale isn’t the only player whom Mourinho is interested in, though.

Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala are also on his ‘wish-list’.
