Mousa Dembele is injured
Roberto Martinez will be without Tottenham’s Mousa Dembele for his upcoming qualifiers against Bosnia and Gibraltar.
It’s been confirmed on Tuesday night that the Spurs midfielder has been forced to leave the Belgium camp with an ankle injury.
Dembele’s involvement in the international break was unlikely after he missed last weekend’s 2-0 Premier League win over Man City with injury.

Despite that, he went to join up with his international team mates in Belgium, only for news to now filter out that he’s out of action with an ankle problem.
One suspects he will be fit for Spurs when the league campaign starts up again.

A frustrating start
It’s been a slow start to the season for Mousa Dembele, who began the year out of contention for Mauricio Pochettino as he needed to serve a suspension carried over from last season.
Nevertheless, Spurs have begun the campaign well, and they are now second in the league.
