Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 4-3
Liverpool won a pivotal match at Anfield on Saturday against Crystal Palace.
The Eagles travelled to Liverpool knowing they’d won three of their last four visits to the ground.
Thoughts of another upset were crystalised in the first half on Saturday as Andros Townsend fired Palace 1-up.
But Liverpool scored four goals the second period. Mohamed Salah scored twice, while Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane also found the target.
As for Palace, James Tomkins levelled the match at 2-2 while Max Meyer scored a late consolation in injury time.
Fabinho & James Milner problems before Leicester
Liverpool now have a mini-break.
The Reds are next in action on January 30 against Leicester City at Anfield in the Premier League.
Will Fabinho be fit for the Leicester match?
That’s in doubt after the Brazilian exited the Crystal Palace game with a hamstring injury.
Fabinho was replaced by Adam Lallana in the 87th minute.
After the Eagles match Jurgen Klopp casted doubt that Fabinho will be fit for the Foxes saying “Fabinho for sure a doubt”.
As for James Milner, he will definitely miss the next match.
Liverpool’s utility star was deployed at right-back against Palace as the Reds suffer from defensive selection problems.
However Milner was sent off in the second period after he collected a second booking.
Milner will now serve a one match suspension in the Leicester game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold update
Liverpool fans will be hoping that Trent Alexander-Arnold will be available for the Leicester match.
On Saturday Klopp remarked:
I don’t know. We have to look day to day, that’s what everybody tells me. [For] Leicester? I don’t know. Trent is a very quick healer so that gives us a little hope. That’s it. We have to see.
