Bad news for Arsenal fans as manager distances himself from links

Wenger successor

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has distanced himself from rumours linking him to Arsenal following pressure on Arsene Wenger.

The Italian was thought to be one of the candidates should the club decide to part ways with Wenger following fan pressure.

Now, the Juventus boss has explained that he is comfortable in Juventus and is not looking to leave for the time being.

“I’ve still got one-and-a-half years on my contract and am in great harmony with the club,” he said.

This could also have a domino effect on Arsenal, with almost no candidates that would suit the bill available.

Wenger is said to be waiting until April or May to decide on his future and to gauge the feeling among the fan base towards him.
