Wilshere Arsenal

Bad news for Arsenal and England: Jack Wilshere’s huge blow

Unfortunate

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere received a huge blow against Chelsea in their Carabao Cup semi-final clash as he was withdrawn through injury.

It’s not been a great career in terms of injuries for Jack Wilshere and it’s not going to get any easier it seems.

The player has been known for his incredible potential and ability but injuries have always had a big dent on that.

Wilshere had even looked incredibly impressive in recent weeks both in the Premier League and v Chelsea but his night was cut short.

The Englishman went down injured with what looked to be an ankle injury, the place in which he had a very serious problem while at Bournemouth.

The injury kept the player out for a long time and he had only just looked to have gotten over it before the huge blow at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal fans will now be hoping for some good news after the match, with everyone at the club hoping for nothing serious.

World Cup hopes

Another set of fans that will be pretty worried is that of the England national team fans.

Wilshere’s form had raised quite a few eyebrows, none other than among the English support.

With central midfield possibly the weakest position on the pitch, Wilshere was tipped for a spot on the plane.

In fact, most fans were in favour of him getting at least a squad place but now that is at risk.

The England camp will be hoping that his injury does not stretch to the World Cup and he may still have a spot.
