Moreover, it’s now been 68 games since Tottenham were last held to a 0-0 draw.
That’s after Spurs won a crucial match in their new stadium on Tuesday, beating Brighton 1-0 in the Premier League.
Christian Eriksen scored the winner for Spurs in the 88th minute.
The Dane smashed home a left-footed strike from around 30-yards.
The win significantly boosted Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four.
The Lillywhites are third in the table on 70 points from 35 games.
Real Madrid vs Spurs: Christian Eriksen contract update
Over the weekend reports popped up suggesting that Christian Eriksen could soon agree a new deal with Tottenham.
Eriksen, 27, has scored seven goals and chipped in with 12 assists in the Premier League this season.
His contract with Spurs expires at the end of next season, and for months there have been rumours about the midfielder could leave north London.
Real Madrid have been named as possible suitors for Eriksen.
Indeed the Spanish press have claimed that Eriksen has indicated he plans to move to Real Madrid in the summer.

After the Brighton game, Mauricio Pochettino discussed Eriksen’s ongoing future at Spurs:
I hope and wish Christian can be with us in the future. I think Christian and us, we are so open to talk and we will see what happens.
It’s a situation that’s a very special one and Christian is a special person. The timing for him or for the club to be agreeing something is maybe different to another player.
It’s so close to the end of the season and there’s a lot of time to talk afterwards. The most important thing now, not only for him, is for all the players to be focused and try to achieve the things we want.
