Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is injured
Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo lasted only 30 minutes on Tuesday night for Portugal.
Playing in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Serbia, Ronaldo was subbed out the match on the half hour.
He was replaced by Benfica’s Pizzi.
Ronaldo appeared to suffer a hamstring injury as he chased a ball down the left hand side.
After pulling up and hopping on his left leg, Ronaldo slumped to the turf to receive medical treatment.
The Juve star made it clear he couldn’t continue as he flashed the well-known ‘sub me’ gesture.
Juventus vs Ajax
The big fear now is that Cristiano Ronaldo may miss the upcoming Champions League tie against Ajax.
Juventus booked their spot in the quarterfinals thanks to a Ronaldo hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the last round.
If Juve are without Cristiano, could Ajax knock them out?
Ajax beat reigning Champions League holders Real Madrid in the last round.
