Aubameyang & Lacazette injury updates before Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Aubameyang & Lacazette

Bournemouth vs Arsenal

Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth host Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League.

Bournemouth are sixth in the league with 20 points on the board.

Arsenal are just above the Cherries in fifth spot, while Unai Emery’s charges are on 24 points.

Bournemouth are looking to bounce back to winning ways after successive defeats to Man United and Newcastle in the league.

Arsenal have only won one game in their last five, yet the Gunners are on a 16-game unbeaten streak in all competitions.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

During the international break it came to light that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was carrying an injury.

Aubameyang pulled out of Gabon’s matches due to a back problem.

So will Aubameyang be fit for the Bournemouth match?

The good news for Arsenal fans is that Aubameyang was back in training on Wednesday.

However the striker has confirmed he’s carrying an injury on Twitter, as he told fans he’s “trying to get fit ASAP”.

Nevertheless, Arsenal fans should feel confident that Aubameyang will be fit for the Cherries.

That’s after Arsenal shared a video of the forward showing off his breakdancing moves in the dressing room.

Surely if he had a serious back problem, such moves would be impossible.

Alexandre Lacazette

Arsenal fans have also been sweating over the fitness of Alexandre Lacazette during the international break.

Lacazette was forced to withdraw from the French squad during the international break due to a groin problem.

In a boost for the Gunners, Lacazette was also back training on Wednesday before the Bournemouth game.

There seems little doubt that Lacazette will be fit for Sunday’s Premier League match.
