An incredible stat, highlighting Arsenal’s persistent dependence on the goals of star hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has emerged online this afternoon.
The Gunners travelled to Carrow Road a short time ago, for their latest Premier League outing.
The clash came as Arsenal’s first since Unai Emery’s long-awaited sacking earlier this week, with interim boss Freddie Ljungberg having been handed his first chance to impress.
The Swede headed into proceedings hoping to bring an end to a dismal 7-match winless streak across all competitions.
When all was said and done, however, the north Londoners still couldn’t manage to turn things around.
Norwich took the lead in the clash with 20 minutes on the clock, through Teemu Pukki.
Arsenal pulled level just minutes later, though, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang slotted home from the penalty spot at the 2nd time of asking.

The defensive frailties of the visitors then proved costly yet again on the stroke of half-time, as Todd Cantwell struck for the 2nd game running to put Norwich back in front.
But that man Aubameyang was back on the scoresheet 10 minutes into the second-half, bringing Arsenal level with a typically-emphatic finish following a corner.
The remaining half-hour saw the away side toil in attacking areas, with Norwich having actually looked more likely to find an all-important winner.
But, when all was said and done, both sides were forced to settle for a point.
As outlined above, Arsenal’s blushes this afternoon were once again spared by the goals of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (though credit should also go to Bernd Leno for some superb saves).
The Gabonese striker has long stood as the north Londoners’ most-consistent threat in front of goal, with questions having understandably been asked of just how badly Arsenal would be struggling this term without their star goal-scorer.
The Gunners’ dependence on the goals of Aubameyang away from home to this point in the Premier League campaign, meanwhile, has this evening been highlighted by an amazing statistic.
Following his latest brace, the former Borussia Dortmund man has now netted 6 of Arsenal’s 7 away league goals this season.
This marks a ratio of 86%.
