Arsenal’s Monday Night Football record brought to light ahead of Crystal Palace

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace

The first Premier League gameweek following the October international break draws to a close on Monday evening.

The final tie of the weekend will see Arsenal and Crystal Palace face off at the Emirates.

The Gunners head into the game on a fine run of form. After losing their opening three league games of the season, Arsenal have since picked up three wins on the bounce, and a draw with an impressive Brighton side.

The north Londoners would concede just one goal across these matches, and are no doubt fancying their chances of continuing their mini unbeaten run on Monday.

As for Crystal Palace, they have won just one of seven PL games this term. However, the Eagles have managed to earn four draws, and are likely to prove a tough nut to crack tomorrow night.

Arsenal’s Monday Night Football record

Ahead of the game, Arsenal’s recent record when lining out as part of Monday Night Football has been brought to light.

It has been revealed that the capital giants have won their last seven outings when playing on Monday nights.

Perhaps even more impressive is the fact that, across those seven games, Arsenal have scored 15 goals and conceded just two.

Whilst too much stock should not be put into this statistic when it comes to the potential result on Monday, it should give Arsenal’s players a confidence boost ahead of the game.
