Arsenal vs Burnley
Arsenal take on Burnley this weekend as they look to bounce back from their loss vs Southampton.
Prior to losing to Southampton last weekend, Arsenal were on a 22-match unbeaten run across all competitions.
The Gunners start the weekend in 5th place with 34 points, eight points above 6th place Manchester United.
Arsenal are also three points behind 4th place Chelsea, but Chelsea have six better goal difference. So, it is unlikely Arsenal will move up to 4th this weekend, even if they win.
However, a win vs an out of form Burnley side is key to putting some confidence back into the side after they lost to 17th place Southampton.
As for Burnley, they start the weekend in 18th place and have lost four of their last five league games.
A win for Burnley could see them move as high as 16th.
Bellerin and Kolasinac injury updates
Heading into the clash with Burnley, Arsenal are dealing with several injury problems, particularly in their defence.
Hector Bellerin was subbed off at half-time last weekend vs Southampton due to picking up an injury.
This injury is expected to keep Bellerin out of the Burnley game as well.
Sead Kolasinac would pick up a knock prior to Southampton and he too will miss out this weekend.
Arsenal do have some good news in the defensive department though as Shkodran Mustafi is available to face Burnley.
Mustafi will be available for Saturday but the game against Burnley is expected to come too soon for Hector Bellerin and Sead Kolasinac. Mkhitaryan (ankle) was injured last weekend and the club are waiting on the results of his scan. Everyone else is as last weekend. #AFC
