Golden Boot & Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah
Will Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah win the Premier League’s Golden Boot for a second season running?
Heading into the final day of the season, Salah sits on top of the league’s goal-scoring charts.
Salah has scored 22 league goals for Liverpool this season.
For the record, last season the north African star won the award with 32 Premier League goals.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane was last season’s runner-up with 30 goals.
Arsenal’s Aubameyang vs Man City’s Aguero
If Salah doesn’t win the award, his closest challengers are Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Man City’s Sergio Aguero.
The Arsenal and Man City forwards have both scored 20 goals in the Premier League.
There’s also another challenger to Salah: Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane.
Mane has also managed to score 20 goals in the league this campaign.

Golden Shoe updates
It’s worth noting that when it comes to the European Golden Shoe award, none of the Premier League’s top marksmen are in the running.
Last season’s European Golden Shoe winner was Lionel Messi. Back then the Argentine scored 34 goals to clinch his fifth Golden Shoe prize (one more than Cristiano Ronaldo).
This season, Messi is again the player to beat. The Argentine has 68 points having scored 34 goals for Barcelona.
Second in the table is PSG striker and French World Cup winner Kylian Mbappe. He has 60 points having scored 30 times for PSG.
Third in the standings is Sampdoria’s evergreen attacker Fabio Quagliarella. He has 50 points after scoring 25 goals for the Serie A side.
Liverpool’s Salah is fourth in the list with 44 points from his 22 Premier League goals.
