Arsenal worry: Atletico Madrid key player returns to line-up

Arsenal take on Atletico Madrid in the Europa League semi-final this evening at the Wanda Metropolitano, with the tie currently level at 1-1 following last week’s meeting at the Emirates.

Returning for Madrid this evening is former Chelsea striker Diego Costa who has previously scored three goals in six appearances against the Gunners.

Costa returns

Diego Simeone makes three changes to the side that held the Gunners to a 1-1 draw in North London last Thursday, including the return of Costa.

With Sime Vrsaljko having seen red in the first-leg, he is replaced by Gabi, with Thomas Partey slotting into the full-back role.

Meanwhile, Costa replaces Kevin Gamiero alongside Antoine Greizmann and Vitolo comes in for Angel Correa.

Meanwhile, for potentially the final time in Europe, Arsene Wenger names an unchanged line-up from the side that started the first-leg.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from Marouane Fellaini’s 91st-minute winner which handed Manchester United all three points on Sunday.
